Owners and managers on Google+ pages
Posted by James Moore on 07 May 2013 11:33 am

There are two types of admins in Google+ page world: owners and managers. Each page can only have one owner, but can have up to 50 managers. All managers have the same rights -- managers don’t possess different “ranks.” Adding managers allows you to share control of your page with multiple people without having to share your personal login information.

Let’s say you create a Google+ page for your pizza parlor. Since your pizza parlor has become particularly popular thanks to your pepperoni pizza pies, keeping up with all your page activity has become tricky. So you decide to add some of your most trusted employees as managers of your page. Now that you're able to respond to your page's traffic, the only thing you'll need to worry about is making enough pepperoni pizza pies to keep up with the passionate demand.

Invite managers
Remove managers
View manager roster (including email addresses of invited managers)
Delete page
Transfer ownership
View and adjust page settings (ex. notifications)
Take actions on behalf of the page (ex. post content, edit circles, edit page profile and name, etc.)

It’s good to keep in mind that the names of the owner and managers aren’t visible to the public or to those in the page’s circles.
